At Farmington Jr. High, we recognize that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming a part of how we learn, work, and communicate. When used responsibly, AI can be a powerful tool to help students explore new ideas, complete tasks efficiently, and deepen their understanding of complex topics.
However, like any form of technology, it also has potential downsides. Relying too heavily on AI can lead to misrepresenting one’s true understanding of curriculum or limit the development of essential skills such as writing, researching, and critical thinking. As a school community, our goal is to guide students in using AI ethically and effectively enhancing learning while still valuing the importance of personal effort and authentic growth.
