Linked below is a copy of Farmington Junior High's Electronic Device Policy. This policy is the exact same as our electronic device policy last school year. This policy aligns with Davis School District Policy 5S-105 governing student use of electronic devices and is consistent with Senate Bill 69, which was recently passed by the Utah Legislature.

The most crucial components of this policy are:
Students will not be allowed to use their personal electronic devices during class time.
We have a structured disciplinary response for students that do not follow this policy the first offense, second offense, etc.
Students will still have access to personal electronic devices in-between classes, during lunchtime, and before/after school.
Our educators are highly supportive of this policy, and we are asking for your support. Please take a few minutes to read through this updated policy with your student(s) and if you have any additional questions about the policy feel free to reach out to a school administrator.
