Checking Students In & Out of School
If you need to check your student in or out during the school day, please follow our school’s attendance policy outlined below.
Check-in Procedure: Students who arrive after the tardy bell must check-in at the office. Parents can come into the office to clear their absence, or they can clear the absence on myDSD.
Check-out Procedure: Students leaving school before the end of the school day must be checked out in person through the main office. To maintain student safety, students can only be checked out by a parent, guardian, or a person on the designated emergency contact list. Picture ID is required to check out a student.

Student lunch schedules are determined by their 3rd and 7th period teachers. Students can review the document above to see which lunch their 3rd and 7th period teachers have. If students have second lunch they go to their 3rd/7th period class first and then go to second lunch.

This summer, we're sharing some of the programs, traditions and experiences that help make Davis School District schools unique.
Today we're featuring Farmington Junior High.
Students at Farmington Junior High have opportunities to explore their interests in many ways. Whether participating in Unified Sports, career exploration, the arts, world languages, science or award-winning music programs, students are encouraged to learn, connect and grow.

Husky Camp - Tuesday August 11
On Tuesday August 11 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM we are going to be having our 7th grade orientation day also known as our "Husky Camp." All 7th grade students are invited to attend this event.
During "Husky Camp" students will get a chance to:
-Meet student body officers and go on a tour of our school.
-Get to know our school counselors and play a few games/activities with their peers.
-Get to know their principals, who will review with them some basic school expectations and procedures.
-Learn and practice school cheers with our school's cheerleading squad.
Optional Parent Meeting
We will also be having a 30-minute optional parent meeting for 7th grade parents at 10:30 AM on this day. During this meeting we will review basic school rules and ways to help support your student at FJH. This meeting will take place in the library while students are participating in other activities.

We will be closed Friday to observe the state holiday, Pioneer Day. We will be open on Monday, July 27. Thank you!

Our main office is closed for cleaning and to observe the national holiday, Independence Day, from Monday, June 29 through Monday, July 6. We will reopen on Tuesday, July 7. Thanks!

We are closed on Monday, June 15th in observance of Juneteenth. We will see you on Tuesday!

Join Davis Reads 45 this summer! Students are challenged to read for 45 days, earning prizes every 5 days and a special end-of-summer event for those who complete the challenge. Pick up books during summer library hours. Families should check with their local elementary school for specific days and times. Regular summer reading helps prevent learning loss and supports continued academic growth. Contact your school or library to get started!

On May 15, Biology students participated in Operation Outbreak.
